Delivering Better Lives

holds to a basic belief that everyone on this planet has a right to a roof over their head, food in their stomach, an education and basic healthcare. Our commitment is to work with disadvantaged communities across the globe to ensure that they are given the basics of life.

While all of these basics are important to quality of life, it is EDUCATION that is the enabler, that more than anything else, will allow communities to change themselves. We are committed to delivering educational facilities and therefore opportunities in as many countries as we can.

2012 Walkathon/Community Event
Our 2012 Walkathon/Community event fundraising efforts are to be allocated to projects in the EMENA region. The first of these projects will be the renovation and upgrade of the Bernolakovo Orphanage in Slovakia. The project was recommended to DBL by our UTi Pharma team in Slovakia who have previously sponsored holiday events for the children at the orphanage. Based on the success of past fundraising efforts, we hope to sponsor a second project in EMENA, which will be determined once we receive 2012 fundraising totals. [ More ]

Singapore Island Run to Deliver Better Lives

Keep the 18th of August free and if you feel energetic enough, join the teams in Singapore running 210 kilometres (the distance around Singapore Island). Teams of ten people will run together to cover the distance as quickly as they can and in doing so will raise funds for DBL.

Join in the run, enter a team, offer support or sponsor a runner or team.

All funds raised go to Delivering Better Lives.

The Bosporus Swimmers are taking the Challenge again to raise funds for DBL.

In 2011 Hugo Duchemin, Tuna Gursoy and Seth Walker team members for our Emena team ( representing three Countries) took the challenges of the Bosporus swim a 6.5 kilometres. The three intrepid adventurers have all agreed to undertake the swim again and to raise funds for DBL.

They are inviting anyone else interested to join in the swim, entries opened on 9 January and close on 4 April so get in soon – if you have any questions or want to clarify any aspects of the challenges please do not hesitate to contact Hugo, Tuna or Seth.

Join the challenge or sponsor their efforts via the DBL website – but if nothing else provide them with messages to motivate them.
